Spring Introductory Youth Tennis Clinic
Clinic Information
This is a clinic designed for beginner youths, grades 1-6, as an introduction to tennis. We will cover the basic strokes of tennis, but with an emphasis on fun. There are three sessions to the clinic, each 1 hour long. The clinic will be held at the state of the art, Upper Arlington High School Tennis Center. We will have our volunteer staff from the UA Tennis Foundation conducting the clinics, which will include the coaches from the UA High School varsity tennis teams.
We have a tremendous amount of tennis experience and expertise within the foundation. Many of the foundation staff will be involved in the clinics. Depending on the number of youths attending the clinics, we may also use current varsity players.
This clinic is sponsored by the Upper Arlington Tennis Foundation, which is an all volunteer and non-profit organization. The purpose of this clinic is simply to stimulate more youths to get involved in this amazing life-time sport. It doesn’t matter whether they just use tennis as a fun pastime or eventually shoot for elite status. We can help guide you with whatever path is chosen.
